About LADC 2026
The LIXIL Architectural Design Competition (LADC) is a conceptual design competition initiated by LIXIL Water Technology Indonesia and in collaboration with Ikatan Arsitek Indonesia (IAI), driven by a commitment to support and achieve high-quality living spaces for humanity (making better homes a reality for everyone, everywhere). This year, the grand concept of this competition is Archipelago Dialogues — an exploration of dialogue between architecture and its surrounding environment, encompassing cultural, geographical, and socio-political dimensions. Through dialogue and the exchange of ideas, architecture becomes a living conversation, continuously evolving alongside contextual needs and inviting local participation.
