BUKIT PANDAWA Golf & Country Club

Awarded as the best par-3 golf course in the world and designed by JMP Golf Design Group, this place is the first of its kind in Southeast Asia. Bukit Pandawa Golf and Country Club features the Indian Ocean, rock outcroppings, and a clubhouse influenced by the iconic temples that are the signature of Bali Island. Designed by Antony Liu and Ferry Ridwan (Studio TonTon), the clubhouse comprises a harmonic weaving of style and space.

The sensitive use and placing of natural materials such as stone, wood, and water allow this clubhouse to stand out without being flashy. Its characteristics blend beautifully against the unmatched scenery. Another beautiful play of contrast is the combination of an American Standard LuXus Floor Standing Vessel against the dark hues in the public bathroom.

Designer Highlights

Studio TonTon

Antony Liu and Ferry Ridwan both attended Jakarta’s distinguished Tarumanagara University as architecture students, where they first met in 1988. In 1996 Liu set up Studio TonTon in Jakarta with his former partner. Later, in 1999, he designed architecture and started to work together with Ridwan on a number of residences, lounges, resorts, hotels, and other commercial or non-commercial buildings. Studio TonTon

Now, nearly 20 years after its inception, Studio TonTon has grown and shown a remarkable progression, from its earliest minimalist strides to more recent modernist advances. Their creations are seemingly different from one another, but the strong architectural character remains the same, which is the seemingly organic structures that emerge from their designs.
