A quintessential base from which to explore the unspoiled side of Bali, Wyndham Tamansari Jivva stands in stark contrast to its neighbouring agricultural sites. D-Associates, an accomplished Indonesian architectural practice, took the black sands of Lepang beach and designed a resort with a modern spirit infused with Balinese accents. A sleek wooden roof and arched walls in the airy reception greets the guest with a fascinating first impression.

The array of room categories and the striking personality of the craftsmanship convey a sense of design cohesion. A blend of natural materials forms a beautiful and relaxing space, including its bathroom. An American Standard Acacia Freestanding Tub acts as the centrepiece in the suites and brings even more tranquility into this secluded site.

D-Associates

Gregorius Yolodi and Maria Rosantina established D-Associates, a Jakarta- based architectural practice, in 2000. The

practice has emerged as a consistent figure within the architectural scenes of Indonesia through the first decade of the 21st century, as demonstrated through a range of carefully detailed material experimentations and meticulously executed architectural projects. D-Associates Bali Wyndham Jivva Resort 2 0 They were both active members of the Green Architecture club during their studies and are well-travelled throughout the Indonesian archipelago. This experience equips them with a strong awareness of the diverse facets of architectural history, traditions, and socio- urban and environmental characteristics of the rapidly developing nation.
